Why it exists
We didn't set out to build a product. We built it because the field work we were doing needed it, and every tool on the market wanted us to change how the business worked to fit the software.
So it got built the other way around: around how a job actually moves, from the first walkthrough to the final invoice.
Nothing gets quietly rewritten
Every step is append-only. Signed documents keep their receipt, and edits leave a record instead of overwriting one. Six months later, when somebody's trying to remember what was agreed, the answer is in the system rather than in an argument.
