About

A technology company that goes outside.

DRT Technologies is an East Tennessee company building the digital half of businesses that exist in the physical world: developers, operators, contractors and the people who market what they build.

Where it came from

The work started on job sites, not in an office. Building the systems a field business actually needed, then discovering the same gap everywhere: the marketing didn't know what the operation knew, and neither of them talked to the software.

So DRT was built to hold all three at once. Brand and web on one side, production on another, and the software underneath. It's an unusual combination, and it's the whole reason the pricing works.

What we believe

Say the number and explain it. A price you can't justify is a price you shouldn't charge. Every quote we send shows its own math.

Raise the uncomfortable thing first. If there's a problem in the work, you should hear it from us before you hear it from somebody else.

Own what you paid for. Your domains, your accounts, your footage, your data. We don't build businesses that can't leave us.

Ship it, then prove it. We won't promise a ranking or a revenue figure before the data exists to support it. We'd rather build the measurement first.

Who you work with

Ryan Olive runs DRT as VP of Technology. You get one point of contact and a small team behind it, not an account manager relaying messages to people you'll never meet.

He also works on the ground as a project manager in outdoor design-build, which is where most of this came from and why the software knows what a change order actually looks like.

 The short version

One partner, across the whole thing.

Brand, websites, aerial, interactive 3D, search, and the software underneath it. Bought in pieces from five vendors, this costs more and works worse. That's the entire pitch.
